Puppies: DOB Jan 9, 2010
Pups will be ready for new homes second week of March 2010.
Our puppies are from planned litters where pedigrees are closely studied, and genetic testing is always done. Our pups come with a health guarantee for two years. We stand behind every one of our puppies. We want each one to be in a loving home, and will take back and re-home our puppies if they ever need to be placed again.
Our pups will have their tails docked and dew claws removed at the age of 2-3 days. Although docking tails has become somewhat controversial recently, it is still AKC standard. The vizsla’s naturally long thin tail can get torn in the field and take a very long time to heal. We believe it is better to have a mild discomfort for a minute of time. Vizslas use their tails expressively, their tails are docked at 2/3 their length per AKC standard.
Our puppies are raised in our home on our 5 acre ranch. Ivy is our pet above and beyond everything else that she is (ie: show dog, agility dog…) A dynamic environment that includes socialization to children, access to well behaved dogs, toys to stimulate and peak curiosity, both indoor and outdoor environments and a quiet, warm resting area helps each pup achieve their genetic potential. They are protected, watched over, and giving superior care throughout the entire pregnancy and newborn stages. We believe that happy, secure, active, outgoing, friendly mother dogs make happy secure, active, outgoing, friendly puppies!
